Alien Resurrection is, in my own opinion, the weakest in the quadrilogy. It doesn't have what made the first 3 movies so good; the buildup of tension, the music and atmosphere and the acting. What's more is that hybridizing (did I just invent a new word?) Ripley with alien DNA is just a rediculous idea, it's too over the top and gives the impression that the franchise went too far in a desperate attempt to cash in some more money on a well established theme. Ripley died in Alien 3 and should've stayed that way, by creating Alien Resurrection they ruined the ending of the best trilogy in history.
